Quality clothing and nutritious food for individuals and families across California.
All incoming donations and services are managed by the Sons of the Covenant Chaldean Monastery monks, who serve as youth ministers and sacristan while maintaining all operations.
The monks assist with receiving, cataloging, and blessing each donation that is received. To achieve these ends, they freely and joyfully embrace the monastic virtues of poverty, chastity, and obedience.
Every item that passes through our doors is handled with care and reverence before reaching the families who need it most.
Our facility serves as a beacon of hope for the community. The Sons of the Covenant monks dedicate their lives to receiving, organizing, and distributing every donation with prayer and purpose.
Each item is cataloged and blessed, ensuring that the act of giving carries the full weight of its intention from donor to recipient.
Providing the essentials that allow individuals and families to thrive.
We provide new, quality, weather-appropriate and age-appropriate clothing. Providing children and adolescents from lower-income backgrounds with clothing that is comparable to their peers is about social integration and psychological well-being.
When children feel they "fit in" visually, it removes a significant social barrier, allowing them to focus on learning, competitive sports, and attending social functions. The bible repeatedly teaches us that helping the poor is about true inclusion—caring for our neighbors as we would care for ourselves.
We provide individuals and families of all sizes access to fresh, quality food. We distribute the same quality of food to those in need that we would place on the table for our own families.
Giving someone expired or poor-quality food can communicate that they deserve less than what we would expect ourselves. In the book of Malachi, God rebukes people for offering inferior sacrifices. The bible teaches us to love our neighbor as ourselves. We keep our pantry full of staple foods that make complete meals, and we offer an abundance of healthy snacks.
Because CCC is run entirely by volunteers, 100% of your gift fuels our programs. With a board specializing in financial oversight, you can give with confidence, knowing every dollar is managed with integrity and dedicated to our cause.
